Celebrate Life's Autonomy

Hub and I were aware we won't be together as a family today July 4th holiday because of work obligation. So we had a random family weekend getaway outside our home just this past weekend.
I have to say we had a blast, totally feels like a vacation even if we just had it in the city we live in... Gotta love sunny SoCal, especially SD --- proud to be SanDiegans, *grin*.

Photos here were taken early morning the next day of our stay... a bike ride, tour around Paradise Point Resort and Spa a beach front resort --- indeed it was a family retreat, and we truly feels like we're in Hawaii/Philippines [though we've never been to hawaii but that's what the resorts been promoting]. Activities includes golfing, tons of water activties, bike rides, spa treatments, large pond with ducks/turtle feeding, 5 pools with evening kids movie night [yes, you're enjoying the heated pool while watching movie... i have to say i was impressed with this one], and free fireworks display at night from neighboring Seaworld Theme Park. I am sure there is more to it but for our short stay we weren't able to get to check out the rest of the amenities. We'll definitely be back.
