24 August 2011

Running errands the whole day, making sure grocery list is done. Laundry running. Double checking required school supplies are set with name stickered as instructed. Shoe closet cleaned and organized. Clothes for the big day tomorrow folded well and set aside for easy grasp first thing tomorrow. Sleeping pattern designed early to bed these past few days, hoping to achieve early waking up hours.

Little M: I am going to cry tomorrow, I am going to miss Ate L... I love you ATE!!!
[these were the lines our little one blurted out when she noticed everything is set to go for Ate L's first day of school tomorrow]

Little M is not ready for preschool yet as her age did not make it for the state of California's cut off required age to start school... so mommy's homeschooling her for now, *wink*.
Story here.

Yes, Ate L's first day of school will commence tomorrow... officially a 2nd grader ♥

Wish Ate L all the luck for school year 2011-2012!!!

Riding the Waves

Life is a Journey

Sail, explore the vastness
Feast on the bounty
There is more to life
In between pain and despair

Surf, ride along the possibilities
Chances can’t be scarce
To those who search
Success won’t be far away

Float; run with the wind of change
Lots of riddles to be solved
Life is a quest, a voyage
Uncertainties make it a challenge

Getaway, leave the crib of doubt
In your hand, the power
Inside you, the great fire
Let it flare; shine and be at the top

Little M wasn't sure at first, few more attempts and she started to have fun --- lots of FUN.

Ate L on the other hand is her usual own self, learning on her own slower pace version.

Boogey boarding is the family's new found water adventure ♥

Two Family in One

Truly amazing how few days of bonding with family changes your outlook in life.

Meet family E from San Diego and family A from San Antonio.

The Cow-Boys and California-Girls
Sis J's family from SA Texas came for a visit this summer ... second time around --- and it was a blast when two family simply enjoy everyone's company. Not asking that much but wish we can have this kind of bonding moments, not necessarily everyday [but if granted, will take it too] but in occasion.

Now the family is back to our daily accustomed activities... somewhat cheerless, separation anxiety? --- though looking forward to another family get together sometime!!!

Photo above taken few hours before their flight back to TX... more photos to follow from the rest of their visit/our summer 2011 vacation.
